Coming up with a theme: tasty cuisine is a safe bet. One French
association's initiative: Sharing international food to bring neighbours
together

The main idea of this initiative is quite simply encouraging exchanges between residents of a
street, a neighbourhood, etc. We were looking for an original
idea, and we thought of international cuisine as a way to involve
our neighbours from other cultures:
Are your neighbours Portuguese? Try some sardines! If they're
Polish have some traditional cakes. And if they're Belgian,
how about some chocolate? Even within a single town, there
could be an Italian building, a Spanish or Greek street, a
neighbourhood with a hint
of Ireland and more...
It leaves the neighbours open to design their own gourmet
theme.
