你在哪出生的？
我在宜蘭出生，從小學唸到高中。大學唸淡江大學資訊管理系，才搬到台北來。
Where were you born?
I was born in I-lan and lived there from elementary school to high school. I went to Tamkang University, majored in Information Management, I moved to Taipei since then.
你為什麼會來到天母？
我在大學時期工讀的時候，我就在隨意鳥地方餐廳打工，老板對我們很不錯，同事之間相處得也很融洽，餐廳的老客人也很多，資深員工對新人也很照顧，一直做到當兵。當完兵以後我又回到隨意鳥地方來工作，一做就三、四年了。
What brought you to Tianmu?
I took a part-time job when I was in Tamkang, I worked at the Diamond Tony’s Restaurant for couple years, then I went to military service. I came back the Diamond Tony’s again after I finished the service. I have been here for almost 4 years.
你對天母有什麼印象？
天母是一個很有異國風味的地方，讓我有機會和外國人互動，也可以練習英文。而且天母的餐廳很多，也很好吃。我工作的餐廳就有很多好吃的，我特別喜歡這裡的牛排、羊排，是用最好的材料，而不是靠著料調味出來的。天母很多元化，人也很好，讓我喜歡待在這裡。
How would you describe Tiamu?
Tianmu is a unique place in Taiwan, very exotic, it gives me chances to interact with foreigners and practice my English. There are many nice restaurants and gourmet food, delicious! I recommend steaks and lambs in my restaurant, those are not just flavored by spices and sauces but the real nice raw materials. Diversity is the best thing in Tianmu, people are very nice, I like to stay here longer.
你假日喜歡做什麼？
美食，吃好吃的東西，也喜歡聽音樂，特別是都市情歌，像李宗盛、王菲、楊乃文這些人的歌。我還喜歡游泳、上網。可惜最近天母少了一家唱片行（玫瑰唱片）。
How do you spend your day off?
I like good foods, yam… I like Chinese songs, such as Li Zongsheng, Faye Wang and Yang Naiwen, those kind of urban style love songs. I also like swing and web surfing. It’s a pity that Tianmu doesn’t have the record store any more (Rose Records).
你有沒有想過10年後你會做什麼？
我還會在餐飲界服務吧！我喜歡這個行業。我應該還會留在天母，台灣沒有其他一個像天母這樣的地方。其實我很喜歡改變的，留在這裡不變，好像和我的本性是矛盾的。
How would you picture yourself in 10 years from now?
I would like to stay in the restaurant business and I like this business. I think I will stay in Tianmu, there is no other place in Taiwan like Tianmu. It’s funny, I like variability a lot, but I won’t change that in my job and the place I stay.
